Parkinson's Disease recruiting studies and washout check
905 studies matched on ClinicalTrials.gov for the query below. Retrieved September 28, 2026. This page does not say who can enroll.
Query
Parkinsons Disease OR Parkinson Disease
Names the matcher also recognizes: Parkinson's Disease, Parkinson Disease, PD. Abbreviations shorter than five letters stay off the query so a string such as MS does not pull unrelated records. Status filter: recruiting or not yet recruiting. The same names are how a personalized search starts. Washout timing still needs the treatment end date you enter on the search form. The Safety, Tolerability and Preliminary Efficacy of NouvNeu001 for Early-onset Parkinson's Disease
Recruiting · Phase 1 · registry updated 2024-11-07
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety of NouvNeu001 injection in Early-onset Parkinson's Disease (EOPD) patients. It will also learn about the effects of NouvNeu001 treatment. The main questions it aims to answer are: What medical problems do participants have when transplanting NouvNeu001 into bilateral putamen using stereotactic neurosurgery? Does injection of NouvNeu001 improve the motor function and non-motor function in participants? Participants will: Be injectioned the NouvNeu001 into bilateral putamen using stereotactic neurosurgery. Take immunosuppressants to prevent potential immune rejection for 24 to 36 weeks.

Percept Transitions in FOG and PD
Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-03-03
The purpose of this research is to examine the possible causes and signs of freezing of gait (FOG) secondary to Parkinson's disease (PD). To achieve this, the study will use the novel (on-label and FDA-approved) local field potential (LFP) measuring capability of the Medtronic Percept™ deep brain stimulation (DBS) system to compare oscillatory activity in people who have Parkinson's disease, with and without freezing of gait (FOG). This will be conducted as three separate experiments, participants may volunteer for one or more experiments: Experiment 1: The first experiment will compare LFPs during gait initiation with and without a cue, in people with (PD+FOG) and without FOG (PD-FOG). Experiment 2: The second experiment will compare LFPs during the successful movement transitions vs. freezing-events during a FOG provocation course in people with FOG. Experiment 3: The third experiment will compare LFPs during rapid alternating movements of the wrist and/or foot, in people with and without FOG

Effects Of Strategy Training And PNF On Balance, Gait, And Independence In Parkinson's Disease
Not Yet Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-03-20
This randomized controlled trial aims to compare the effects of Strategy Training and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) on balance, gait, and functional independence in patients with Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease leads to impaired motor function, reduced balance, and decreased independence. Physiotherapy interventions such as strategy-based training and PNF may help improve mobility and functional performance. Participants will be randomly assigned to two groups: one receiving Strategy Training and the other receiving PNF intervention. Outcome measures including balance tests, gait assessment, and functional independence scales will be evaluated before and after treatment. The study aims to determine which intervention is more effective in improving functional outcomes in Parkinson's disease patients.
NCT07322939
Effects of Exercise With Visual Feedback in Parkinson's Disease
Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-01-27
Patients with Parkinson's disease who apply to the Hasan Kalyoncu University Application and Research Center and meet the inclusion criteria will be included in the study. The included participants will be randomly assigned into either the intervention group or the control group using a sealed-envelope method. Both groups will undergo a standard exercise program, consisting of posture, strengthening, and balance training, under the supervision of a physiotherapist for 8 weeks, 3 days per week. In addition to this, the intervention group will receive an additional exercise program incorporating visual feedback using a laser pointer, targeting the trunk and lower extremities, also under the supervision of a physiotherapist for 8 weeks, 3 days per week.
NCT02194816
Modifiable Variables in Parkinsonism (MVP)
Recruiting · Not specified · registry updated 2022-03-25
We are trying to identify factors associated with improved quality of life and fewer PD symptoms. We are attempting to identify practices, beliefs, and therapies used by individuals who report excellent quality of life, few PD symptoms, and reduced rates of progression. After agreeing to participate, we will ask participants to fill our questionnaires about their experience with PD, their health in general, along with their food intake every six months for five years.
NCT07542743
A System to Help With Freezing of Gait in Parkinson's Patients
Not Yet Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-04-21
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the ParkinSense system, a customizable, multimodal, and adaptable cueing system, can assist with freezing of gait (FOG) in patients with Parkinson's disease. The main question it aims to answer is: is the percent of time spent frozen reduced when using the system compared to not using the system? Participants will be asked to take part in a single-visit laboratory study where they will wear the system in a controlled environment, followed by a two weeks of home use.
NCT07804615
A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, PK, Safety, and Tolerability of VIM0423 in Adults With Parkinson's Disease Tremor Insufficiently Responsive to Dopaminergic Therapy
Recruiting · Phase 2 · registry updated 2026-09-11
Vista PD is a randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy, PK, safety, and tolerability of VIM0423 in adults with Parkinson's disease tremor insufficiently responsive to dopaminergic therapy. The main objectives of this clinical trial are to determine the following: * Does VIM0423 therapy improve tremor symptoms in adults with Parkinson's disease? * Is VIM0423 well tolerated in individuals with Parkinsons's disease? and * Do the therapeutic effects of VIM0423 confer improvements on daily function and quality of life?

Micro Ribonucleic Acid (miRNA) Expression and Inflammatory Factors in Patients With Parkinson's and Periodontal Disease
Not Yet Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2025-08-01
MicroRNAs are important regulators of the immune and inflammatory response to bacterial pathogens during periodontal disease. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possible miRNA type for Parkinson's in saliva of orally healthy individuals.
